Kevin McCracken is the Interim Director of the Center for Business and Economic Development at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus. He holds a BS in psychology, an MS in Counseling, and an MBA, all from Indiana University. McCracken has 16 years' experience working in community mental health as a licensed counselor, supervisor, and senior manager. McCracken secured and administered grants totaling about $400,000, which established a regional training center for people with disabilities. McCracken's interest in healthy organic foods and sustainability issues began in the mid-1970's and continue to this day. He and his wife are organic gardeners and have been members of the Bloomingfoods cooperative for many years.
McCracken's board service spans many years and includes terms with Big-Brothers/Big-Sisters, Leadership Bartholomew County, Aging and Community Services, IUPUC Alumni Association, Indiana University Alumni Association, and the Indiana Green Party.
